I'm glad to write that the domain name trouble has been fixed. Service should be back to normal.
The core problem was the inflexibility of transferring domain names coupled with the even more inflexible Swedish association system. It suggests an interesting research question: how to construct distributed domain name management without loss of property rights?

Posted by: Justin Corwin at February 23, 2004 01:01 PMUnlikely, this kind of silence usually means he's upto something...
...I wonder if any planets are currently being disassembled :)
Posted by: Ben at February 24, 2004 08:11 PMWell, no planets were hurt in the production of this silence. But yes, I am up to lots of things, many of which ought to end up here soon...
Posted by: Anders at March 5, 2004 12:43 AMJust an update for your website (http://www.nada.kth.se/~asa/dysonFAQ.html) from a hard-sf fan with elementary science knowledge: I stumbled onto your site while searching for a definition of Dyson Sphere. I found it referenced in a new novel by Robert Reed, "Sister Alice" (c2003, Tor). Have also read all the Ringworld books by Larry Niven, along with "Rainbow Mars" and others. I'll bookmark your site for further interest!
