An Aberrant campaign/setting in the near future. Shortly after the millennium some people began to demonstrate unusual powers - "novas". At first few and weak, today in 2005 there are over 150 superhumans in the world and their power appears to be increasing. The War on Terror rages on, but now with superhumans involved. Governments are trying to figure out how to deal with the terrifying dangers of novas losing control over their powers. Scientists race to discover how novas do what they do - and how they gain their powers. Little does anybody suspect the terrifying secrets lurking under the surface.
