Cosmetic Changes of the Body

Since time immemorial humans have modified their bodies for social or personal reasons (not to enhance its function), using clothes, painting, tattoos, scarifications or implants. There is no reason to think that this will end anytime soon, in fact the practice of modifying one's appearance seems to becoming more and more accepted. In a transhuman world, the possibilities of cosmetic changes grows without end, making appearance almost completely arbitrary.
